Refund Policy

In order to receive a full tuition refund, you must cancel your registration by 5:00 pm on the refund deadline date for the course. Registration and course fees, as well as tuition under $100, are non-refundable.

Refund Deadlines

• 4 - 10 week courses - 5:00 pm the day before the third class meeting
• 1-day* to 3-week courses - 5:00 pm seven days before the first class meeting
• Online courses - 5:00 pm on the first Thursday of the first week of class
• Events - All event fees are non-refundable

*Tuition under $100 is non-refundable

Requesting a Refund

You can request a refund online or by fax, email, or postal mail.

Online

The fastest way to receive your refund is to sign in to your Student Login account and drop your course online.

continuingstudies-drop@stanford.edu.

Please allow up to two weeks to process emailed or faxed refunds on your credit card. Refunds by check may take up to four weeks to process. If you have recently submitted a drop request, please wait at least 72 hours before contacting our office with any questions or issues.

No refunds will be given after the deadline unless Continuing Studies Program cancels the course.
