Stanford Bookstore
Textbooks and course materials are available at the Stanford Bookstore, on the lower level, in a section designated "Continuing Studies." Textbooks and course readers are generally available two weeks prior to the start of the quarter.
Bookstore Hours:
Monday through Thursday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

Continuing Studies students are eligible to receive a 7% discount on textbook purchases at the Stanford Bookstore.
Order online: You may also order books online. Visit the Bookstore's Textbook Ordering.
Go to >> Books >> Textbooks >> Select Continuing Studies as your division and SCS as your department.
Order by phone: To order by phone and have books mailed to you, please call the Order Department at 650-725-6136, ext. 328 or 398. Shipping charges will apply.
Returns: Returns can be made, with your receipt, through the second week of the quarter. New books and course readers must be unmarked and undamaged. During the summer quarter, course readers may only be returned, with your receipt, one week from date of purchase.
Stanford Library
Libraries: You have access to University libraries during any quarter in which you are enrolled in a course. Your library pass is not included with the emailed confirmation letter; however, an electronic version of your library pass can be printed out by logging into your account via the Student Login section of our website and then clicking on "Enrollment Status." If you requested a printed confirmation letter, the library pass is on the second page of your letter.
To obtain borrowing privileges, visit the Green Library privileges desk at anytime when Green Library is open. Bring your library pass from your Continuing Studies registration confirmation. Your borrowing privileges only extend through the quarter in which you are enrolled in a Continuing Studies course.
